(More customer reviews)I've used Yesterday's News Litter for my ferrets now for almost 8 years. I tried every type of litter starting out with two ferrets and this one was the safest and most effective for their litter boxes. At one point, I had 4 ferrets using one litterbox in their cage. I moved recently and have to drive a little bit further to get YNL and needed to save money, and I'm down to one ferret; so over the last few months I've tried the other cheaper recycled pellet type litters. I'M SWITCHING BACK TO YNL. My litter boxes didn't smell that bad after one day of use with 4 ferrets, let along my one with YNL. This is by far the best for what I use it for. I also buy the feline litter because the small animal litter is the same stuff just much more costly.

Yesterday's News is made from recycled newspaper and is veterinarian recommended litter is great for kittens and cats after surgery. Pellets also reduce tracking, and eliminates the messy clay clumping and litter box cleanup.
