(More customer reviews)I have a dog who seems to fancy the breaded tootsie rolls fresh from the litterbox so I use covered litterboxes (3 boxes, 1 cat...each box placed on a different level in the house). The first two covered litterboxes I purchased were the standard rectangular boxy type. You know, bright blue colored...doesn't match anything neutral in my home. Then I got the Booda Dome box and it's not as clunky, still fits with the opening in a corner with the entry allowing the cat access and the dog frustration. The lid lifts off without cheesy latches so there is nothing to line up or worry about snapping off when you replace it with cleaning. It comes with a pan liner, I opted to chuck the pan liner and just clean the box between refills with clumping litter. My cat drags litter out of the pan but then again...she has fluffy paws and I use a mat under the box. There are worse issues in the world than a few grains of sand on the pad outside her potty box.
