(More customer reviews)I've had cats for more than 20 years, and this is my favorite cat litter of ANY kind. I don't understand the previous reviewer fussing because it wasn't "clumping" because he/she made the mistake (and realized it!) of buying the non-clumping kind. That's like fussing because your cat meows when you thought you were getting a dog but when you got home your husband pointed out it was actually a cat. This litter is the best at keeping odors down, it is lighter in weight than any other, and with a couple of poop scoops a week, it comfortably lasts a week. I've even had my mother-in-law ask me "why doesn't your house smell like other people who have cats?" I've tried all kinds of systems, from crystals (too expensive) to clumping (like scraping cement out of the bottom) to "natural, biodegradable" (attracted gnats) to pellets with pads (the pads leaked and the combo expensive), and have decided the best way to go is a hooded box with a liner and Fresh Step regular litter. I've even earned enough rewards over the years to actually get a few pet blankets and toys. The only reason why it doesn't get five stars is because I'm reserving that one for something so easy to work with that absolutely doesn't track - and I think the only thing that will match that will be my cat walking into the bathroom, sitting on the toilet and doing his duty there, then turning around to flush.
