There are two perforated openings on each side panel and two perforated on the front panel. The pet owner has many options on which opening is to be use. I placed this box in my powder room where I cut out the opening on one side of the side panel and one opening on the front panel as I have an L shape area. Inside of the box, there are two removable dividers with openings and side support to prevent from tipping it over. The dividers can be switch around so that the openings are not facing towards the outside panel opening in order for the cat to walk through in a twisted direction. My cats loved it. When one cat goes in, another cat is able to go out on the other side of the opening. The litter granules stays inside the box when my cats digging in. Surprisingly, a refill scratching pads fit really well on the pathways which help capturing the tracks from their paws. The box is very light, very easy to assemble, the only tools I used was a letter opening to cut out the perforated openings. Also it folds flat and unfold it.
Pros: very versatile and ingenious designed. Pet owner can cut out an openings of their choice based on their area, the twisted pathways eliminate tracks from your cat paws, its foldable, and each of the component is replaceable, such as a removable front panel or the bottom tray.
Cons: it is made of corrugated material. Therefore, it may warp when
wet.
