(More customer reviews)The latches on this litter box are very weak and don't stay closed. It is impossible to lift the cat box by the handle on the top when it is full of cat litter. The top just separates from the lower part of the unit. It is a roomy cat box, big enough for my Maine Coon to comfortably negotiate. The filter seems to work beautifully. I don't have a problem with cat box odors at all anymore. It is nice to have the high back on the bottom unit and the lid to keep the cat litter from scattering all over the place. I like everything but the latches. It is a fine cat box if you have larger cats and you don't intend to move it around.
