(More customer reviews)I purchased the littermaid one step a week ago and I have to say at first I almost took it back. I have 3 cats and for years I just let them go to the bathroom and in a few days I would dump the whole pan, 2 pans to be exact. I hated the idea of the littermaid I didn't want something noisy every ten min. My mother owns the self cleaning littermaid and has for years. I found it to be more work than my dump it all method. On top of that I didn't have $200.00. So I'm a little older with just a little more money and bought the cheaper, I Get to tell the litter box when to clean. But I was using my cheap litter and it worked like crap, so I bought tidy cats scoop in blue and I love it, It works like a dream and I only spent $50.00 and it gets the pee and poo. So and extra few dollars on nice litter is well worth it and the litter is awesome. If your working paycheck to payckeck and want to dump the pan this is a really nice machine.
